[Question] I would like to choose to withdraw from civilization but I do not know where I can live, how I am going to find food, and who I am going to associate with. Can you help me?
[listener feedback] hey mike & stephanie! i havent listened to this episode yet, but seeing the topic i just had to comment and recommend a book, which for me was one of those epiphanies that changed my views on alot of things. “sex at dawn- the origins of human sexuality”, by christopher ryan and cacilda jetha, was fascinating and, in my opinion, offered the best-fitting theories as to why we cheat (we are not biologically programmed for monagomy), why women are multi-orgasmic (and louder in bed), purposes of sex in a society, even the advent of paternalism and so-called subjugation of women (agriculture).
one of the more intersting topics was the theory of partible paternity, which most people apparently believed in prehistory, and some still do, that a baby is a mixture of many men’s sperm. indeed, women would have sex with men with different desirable characteristics in order to ensure the child got them. this also ensured that most men in the group had a direct stake in every child.
hope this wasnt too rambling..i have my 4 month old squirming on my lap, apparently trying to nosedive onto the floor…but i just cant pass up preaching about this book cheers!
[listener feedback] Greetings, Mike and Stephanie!
I just finished listening to PT episode 133 on circumcision. You were looking for listener feedback from people who have talked to their parents about being circumcised. I’m not actually circumcised, but I have spoken with my mother about it. A few years back I asked her why she didn’t have me circumcised as a child. Her answer was simply, “I didn’t want to hurt you.” My response was also simple. I said, “Thank you,” and gave her a hug. I did ask her if it’s something that most Greek Orthodox parents do to their children, and she told me it’s not “mandated” by the church. Don’t worry — there are plenty of other screwed up crap the Greek Orthodox church tries to cram down your throat. Luckily I’m an “out of the closet” atheist as of 4/19. Maybe I’ll save that story for a future show. ;)
Let me add that growing up uncircumcised wasn’t always easy, especially when you had to go to a government school. Kids can be real sons of bitches, and when we had swimming in gym class I used to get ridiculed for having an “inside out penis.” I’ve been a quick witted jokester all my life, so my response was usually something like, “Do you always stare at other dude’s dinguses?” OK, I didn’t say dinguses, but I totally would have if I grew up with Jamie Crane from Wheels off Liberty. As an aside, he and Brett Veinotte LOVE my dingus. They talked about it for a solid five minutes during Episode 82 of Wheels off Liberty. I would appreciate the same treatment from you two.
Final thoughts on circumcision. I think this goes deeper than just religion. My belief is the lizard Jews in the center of the Earth invented circumcision while simultaneously inventing sexual lubricant & hand cream. Those things are unnecessary for masturbation when you still have your foreskin. It’s awesome!
I love you two so hard & dirty!

Porc Therapy 133: Circumcision
Stephanie and Mike talk about whatever issues or questions you have. In this episode:
[Listener feedback] Feedback from our swearing episode and talking to kids about swearing.
[Question] Hello Mike and Stephanie. Something that has been bothering me lately is the practice of newborn circumcision. Where did this originate from? How could parents who claim to love their children agree to circumcising them? If someone wants to be circumcised, then that should be that person’s decision and not the decision of anyone else. How could someone who was circumcised without his or her consent trust the parents who gave the healthcare professional permission to do the operation? Clearly any reasons given for circumcision are unfounded. According to some statistics, infant circumcision rates in the U.S. are falling; however, I’d like to that rate fall to zero everywhere. What really upsets me is people that say that the infant doesn’t feel pain when being circumcised. If you have seen video or pictures of a circumcision, you know that those people are clearly talking out of their rear end. I believe the relationship between parent and child is tainted in the first hours of life for people who are circumcised. If parents are full of it on the subject of circumcision, what other subjects are they full of it on? What are your views on circumcision? How could parents in this day in age be so clueless or heartless? Thank you for taking this on.
P.S. Stephanie, Does I have gud grammer!

[1 Listener Feedback] Steph, listening to PorcTherapy… and just to correct something…
Before you… as female hosts there was Julia, Melissa, Jennifer, “Pixie” (my feminist ex-gf), Jackie (Ian’s Ex-GF who still occasionally rarely calls), and also occasionally Amber… and I think there may have been a couple of other female hosts.
In fact, “She Talk Live”, is not the first time FTL was hosted by all women, and the initial group that did so also renamed the show based on gender, calling it “Girl Talk Live”
Fun historical facts from FTL pre-syndication days. Oh boy did WTMY suck.

Aside from your thoughts on religion, thought I post anyway. I listen to several Pagan podcasts and in this community many of the podkin promote each others shows with various bumpers. It’s a great way to find out about other shows. Usually the podcaster will record a short promo and send it out to others to include in their shows.

Porc Therapy 128: Culture
Stephanie and Mike talk about whatever issues or questions you have. In this episode:
[1 Question] I think the word culture is used too loosely. There is a culture for everything it seems. There is a culture for a country, a state, nationalities, behaviors, hip hop, etc., etc. Within each culture there are subcultures all over the place, especially in America. But, ya know what, what is culture really? I mean, what is the definition of culture in your mind? What is culture and what is its’ fundamental definition? Isn’t civilization a culture and doesn’t that mean that there is a world culture? At our core don’t most human being live their lives the same way throughout the world. Work in some way to buy food and enjoy the fruits of their labor with love and happiness. So, with all that said I’d like to hear what Stephanie and Mike have to say about culture and all its’ various forms and how it effects people and their relationships from a liberty perspective???
