Woo. Well… I’ve been sick. It started out as a sore throat and general feeling of yuck, but after a couple of days that progressed to double ear infections. The pain was awful and both of my eardrums ended up rupturing, causing fluid to leak out of my ears. The pain is better now, but I am still not fully recovered – now I’m having major difficulty hearing (not good for radio!) This is all supposed to be temporary and will heal up soon, I’m sure. Please excuse the late posting of this episode, it was hard to even get out of bed over the past week+. There was no live show on 7/5 because I was still sick. (This episode is from 6/29.) But, to make up for it… there is an extra hour of podcast-only, totally “wheels-off” bonus content at the end of this show archive. It was recorded right at the onset of my illness, so it’s extra punchy. Enjoy!

Topics: Post PorcFest thoughts (what happened in the dome?); politicians’ gender wars lead to no-win situation for everyone; new poll sheds light on bitcoin awareness and trust; Brandon’s experiences at the PorcFest sex dome; sexual one-upping; more bitcoin trust; caller Evan relates to caller Joe from a few weeks ago and shares his experience with overcoming problems dating; and the zombie apocalypse. Then, just when you thought it was safe to turn off the podcast… we re-appear with a zany post-show – we reminisce about Sideways Stories From Wayside School, discuss Brian’s crispy eyelashes, and somehow eventually get to read the Amazon stuff (hint: someone is getting lucky in the UK).
