Stephanie and Mike talk about whatever issues or questions you have. In this episode:
[Listener Feedback] We got some feedback to our talk about paganism, basically saying that they disagreed with us but thought we were fair and we brought up some good points.
[Question] We aim to talk about the question we received (“Why do people cheat?”), but end up talking about Ayn Rand’s open relationship.

[1 Listener Feedback] Steph, listening to PorcTherapy… and just to correct something…
Before you… as female hosts there was Julia, Melissa, Jennifer, “Pixie” (my feminist ex-gf), Jackie (Ian’s Ex-GF who still occasionally rarely calls), and also occasionally Amber… and I think there may have been a couple of other female hosts.
In fact, “She Talk Live”, is not the first time FTL was hosted by all women, and the initial group that did so also renamed the show based on gender, calling it “Girl Talk Live”
Fun historical facts from FTL pre-syndication days. Oh boy did WTMY suck.

Aside from your thoughts on religion, thought I post anyway. I listen to several Pagan podcasts and in this community many of the podkin promote each others shows with various bumpers. It’s a great way to find out about other shows. Usually the podcaster will record a short promo and send it out to others to include in their shows.

Stephanie and Mike talk about whatever issues or questions you have. In this episode:
[1 Question] Hello, Mike and Stephanie. This is Mandrik calling with a topic that has bothered me since shortly after I started using the internet in about 1994. It still bugs me today and I’ve only ever brought this up with one other person. Your joint feedback would be great. The topic is initiating conversation in the online world.
Now I consider myself a very good reader of individuals when it comes to face to face. It’ easy for me to tell when someone either wants to talk or just doesn’t care what you have to say. Using that information I know when it’s OK to initiate a conversation or just not bother. If I do initiate and the person is throwing signals out saying “leave me alone, leave me alone” I’ll just drop it and walk away. No problem. The problem I do have is I still try to take this mindset into the online world. So I’m looking for specific signals that simply aren’t there online.
lack of emotion, body language makes it impossible to know if I’m bugging the person or not. This has caused some of my friendships to deteriorate simply because I’m being a pest. I’ve had friendships die out because I got tired of always initiating conversations online. I feel like I’m being a burden, but I never really knew for sure. And to bring it up and have the person say “Oh no, you’re not bothering me” then it feels like they’re talking to me because I made them feel guilty.
So what do you guys think about this? Am I overanalyzing this? Should I just bring it up with my friends if I feel it’s going to be a problem? Is this something either of you two have experienced? Just let me know.
Thanks, Mike and Stephanie. Love you guys like a fat kid loves baklava.

Stephanie and Mike talk about whatever issues or questions you have. In this episode:
[1 Question] I think the word culture is used too loosely. There is a culture for everything it seems. There is a culture for a country, a state, nationalities, behaviors, hip hop, etc., etc. Within each culture there are subcultures all over the place, especially in America. But, ya know what, what is culture really? I mean, what is the definition of culture in your mind? What is culture and what is its’ fundamental definition? Isn’t civilization a culture and doesn’t that mean that there is a world culture? At our core don’t most human being live their lives the same way throughout the world. Work in some way to buy food and enjoy the fruits of their labor with love and happiness. So, with all that said I’d like to hear what Stephanie and Mike have to say about culture and all its’ various forms and how it effects people and their relationships from a liberty perspective???
